paypal asking for social security number but i don't have a social security number. I am legal in the states but i don't a social what should i do? I have a tax id number and a company any recommendations? Paypal has limited my account. =}-

You should call them and explain to them that you do not give out your social security number due to identity theft. Tell them that you have a tax id number that you will provide to them to verify your identity. Is this a stealth account? Either way you should get a SSN. You can't get very far in this world now without one.
