Buying on ebay
 

I want to buy items on eBay but my pay pal account is in default can I buy items using a visa gift card and a John doe name? Oh by the way I'm new to this .I'm in Vegas and need some answers than

What do you mean your paypal account is in default? You can simply create a new paypal account using the same info even if it's suspended. The problem is only when you try to sell with your suspended info, not BUY.

I think what he means by "Default" is that he owes Money to Paypal, Maybe for Ebay fee's or refunds, something like that, if that is the case if you make a New Account with the same info then Paypal will go after that account as well for their fee's.

I just created a buying account myself so there shouldn't be any problems with that account if I am not using it to sell?
I'm just using it to pay for items on my Ebay account.
Can I still accept money on a regular account, like as a gift, etc or will that flag the account?
Should I confirm my new bank account on there just for paying for items? I need to keep a PP account open to pay for my stuff.

forget your old one - creating a buying account and a paypal linked to it, is really easy, takes a minute, just add a card for funding. Just switch your address a bit, but so a package will get there eg 134 becomes 134B, maybe put a variation of your own name, and you can buy without probs, if its just a buying account a banned address does not matter much.
