Hello, trying to set it up right.
 

I used to have an account that got a hold put on it and now it will not allow me to sell anything. That was my first and only eBay account and I need help setting up and brand new one with a new PayPal account.
What is the best way to do this and avoid having it flagged or suspended?
Do I need to get a new bank account and a new phone number now?
Any thoughts, suggestions or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

In order to create a new account you must do a number of things that will avoid ebay suspecting you and flagging your account.

1) Set up a new email account( try and switch email provider as much as possible e.g if you had a gmail email that got banned create a new hotmail email address)

2) Change your IP address.This can be either very difficult or very easy depending on what type of method you use to connect to the internet.Please provide details and il try help!

3)Yes you should change your bank account and add a new one.

4)Try add a new credit card( i think the best thing to do is get a pre paid credit card just incase you get banned in future).

5) You should add a new phone number but as you might only have one then i suggest you make up one for the moment and if they ever need to contact you you can change it to a real phone number!

Hope this helps ive had many accounts banned and since i followed these steps i am a long time seller with the same account.

@superdude, if you make a new phone number up, you will not be able to pass the phone verification on EB/PP. PP may also limit your account if they tried to contact you and was unsuccessful.

Do NOT do this. Search around the forums and you will find the answer but this could get you hammered very quickly if they decide to phone.:doh:
