What is a safe amount to earn with a new ebay seller account before Ebay flag you?!?
 

I have just created a new ebay seller account and i am wondering how much would be a safe amount to earn within the first few weeks of selling in order to be not flagged as suspicious by Ebay. My listings may end at over 100€ and i have 3 items up at the moment. I am wondering is this a safe amount of money to be earning with a newly opended account or will ebay flag me straight away for earning a lot as i am just beginning to sell.

Please someone tell me if i should keep my listing prices down in order to stay under the radar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not at all safe with a newly opened account. You should aim for 30-50 a week but even that, you are starting way too fast. You might be safe but I would have waited to age the account a bit. What's your feedback?

My feedback is 0 as i have just opened the account but i will have 2 feedbacks before the expensive items(100€+) will be sold. A am selling 2 PS3 games which i should get about 20-30 each for and that are ending within the next few days. Are you sure that i am taking this too fast and have what do you recommend i do? I do need to sell the expensive items soon do so is there any way around it.Are you sure i will get flagged?

Well at this point of time if they're up then wait for the sales to go through, provide tracking numbers, and WAIT. Don't hit paypal for fast withdrawal - that's sure fire problem.

Send the items out fast - add a note for feedback and wait. You should be ok. Just pace yourself from now on for 1 sale a week like this - maybe 2 then build as time goes on.

I can't say I am the master at doing this but from what I have been reading and understanding from informed members, this is a better route.

Ok thanks for the advice but your saying that i should leave the money in my paypal account for a few days before withdrawing it to my bank account? And if so how many days? and should i withdraw all of it at once? Sorry im not new to Ebay or paypal but there are still some details that im not fully sure of yet!Thanks

It is never recommended that you withdraw all your money from PayPal for lasting accounts.

PayPal does not like to see zero balances. I like to keep a minimum of $100 at all times in my account with more than that to cover shipping and any purchases I may have.

I like to keep a thousand in my active accounts then withdraw a few hundred at a time on top of that then when I'm done selling on that account slowly take out the remaining thousand and keep my phone with me after each withdrawal.

Ok so im a new seller and im not earning thousands( just yet ;) )

lets say oh i duno i earn 400 by next week how much should i leave in my paypal account and how much should i withdraw to my bank account?

I would say $100 then wait till it's in your hands then withdraw another $100 and leave $100 in there unless your done selling.
