Ever so slightly confused.................

Newbie here.
As the title suggests I am a *little* confused....How do I post a new topic / thread or post?
I only saw the 'post new thread on this part of the forum-intros. Otherwise I cannot find it anywhere else. (Gosh I must sound so stupid, I bet it's right under my nose!)
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
