Hi,
I am glad I found this forum. I came across this forum because my Amazon account got suspended and I was looking for ways to get it reinstated (which of course didn't happen).

But as they say "When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."

Fortunately, this forum made me see the open door, helped me understand what VERO is (I sell on eBay as well) and helped me understand the "secret workings of ebay".

Now for an interesting tidbit -
I sell smoking pipes and other tobiccanna on eBay and even though my listings(most of them at least) are well within eBay policies, about 20% get cancelled for being Drug Paraphernalia. One such listing that got cancelled was for a Tobacco Dugout which I admit can be used for illegal purposes. But the irony here is that while eBay cancelled my listing for being a Drug Paraphernalia, they have listings of websites in their Sponsored Results for the same item. Just go to eBay and search for Tobacco Dugout and the very first listing that comes up is for a Paraphernalia website.

Ebay is a lawsuit waiting to happen. If the DOJ can penalize Google to the tune of 500 million for advertising Online Canadian Pharmacies, I am sure eBay will at least get a rap on their knuckles for advertising Drug Paraphernalia websites. Just my 2 cents.

It is not surprising you were suspended when 20% of your sales are illegal. This is why Ebay has tightened their policies, to avoid situations like this! SELL LEGAL ITEMS!! :suspicious:

Yeah you probably don't want to assist people in using drugs, or make the process more pleasurable... so with your new account maybe check out other items to sell instead. Just a thought.

What ebay does as a corporate enitity is their concern.

You listed items that are against their T&S, that's your concern.

Your 1st post with this complaint was deleted.

Forum is to help users to get back to ebay after unjust treatment. Advertising practices of ebay are not debatable.

Get over it and move on with new accounts, simples.:juggle:
