Ebay accounts closed
 

Hello

I had been with ebay for 12 years with no problems. I made an innocent mistake with postage costs for two customers at the same time and charged them too much postage for items. Instead of the customers getting back to me they contacted ebay and i received emails from ebay about policy violations etc.

I could not believe it..i replied explaining that i had made a mistake but ebay then followed up with more emails and then froze my account!!!!!

my account was froze for months during which time i kept emailing ebay trying to get them to open it again.

Finally i got an email telling me my account was now closed and i could no longer sell.....i could not believe it. I rang ebay but i just got all this policy stuff etc and that they could not open my account/

If the customers had contacted me i would have refunded them the excess postage money...but they went to ebay first????

Because of these two customers 12 years of work was lost on ebay.

Ebay are only interested in the big fish accounts and not the small fish. Now that they are so big they can do what they like. I have heard about other people that have had their accounts closed aswell for making a simple mistake.

Ebay are a law onto their own...you cant win... they ruined my income and my account customers etc. they dont care

If you have an ebay account be very very very careful that you dont make an innocent mistake or you could end up like me...account less.

Yeah it's very unfortunate when this type of situation happens. Time to stealth up and keep moving forward my friend.
