Boom, Ebay got me
 

Well it is really my own fault, I got sick and spent some time in the hospital, by the time I got back to shipping stuff out it was too late, I could not get my account status back up in time.

I called "peggy" she was very little help, but got me going on the appeal process. She wanted me to send in proof on my hospital stay, That is a little tough to do with giving up personal information. I did fax in my appeal about 4 days ago but I doubt it goes anywhere.

beside the lose of money I have a bunch of inventory to get rid of, so it looks like I will go stealth if I can get by changing my ip.

I bought the book, so here we go

I too have had some recent tragedy hit my life.

Unfortunately, people don't have the patience they used to when it comes to internet dealings.

We wish eBay would be sympathetic with our lives, but alas, they are as ruthless as it comes.

You are on the right track OP...you have stealth, you have the forum...now fight back!

I'm sure you could get something from the hospital billing department that shows the dates you were in the hospital. If there is medical information on the bill that you don't want eBay to see, you could black it out. I don't think that eBay wants to know your medical history, they probably ask for proof so that everyone does not just claim they were in the hospital when a problem comes up. eBay HAS been known to be forgiving in such matters if everything else was OK with the account - especially if it is an aged account. Of course there are no guarantees, but it does not hurt to try.

Thanks everyone for the response's. I have not heard anything back from ebay on the appeal. I need to go stealth but cannot change the ip address on my wireless. but that's another thread.

I hope it works out but I can tell you that going stealth and having multiple accounts will be a lot less stress and easier for you.
