Going Stealth with Mobile Phone
 

Hi,

I'm new to this whole Ebay Stealth. I'm not suspended yet but I'm trying to set up two stealth account in case it happens one day.

I was able to switch my airplane mode off and on to change my IP on my cell on 3g/LTE. So I was wondering if this is equivalent to changing your mac address on your router to get a new IP? Pros and Cons? I'm with ATT if that matters.

Phones could be tricky... beware.
If IP issue is now ok, what about cookies? Are you using different browsers/apps for your stealths?

I've done the same thing, log your IP's though...I used to use ATT 3g on the iphone, and it gave me about 10 total IP's...they would cycle through then repeat so be careful not to keep crossing them. Plus its kind of a pain to post items with a phone, using a laptop etc. is much easier. My advice would be a 3g dongle to computer, virgin mobile is excellent...good luck.

Start with a desktop computer or laptop for simplicity

Ensure your external IP is different by checking on ipburger.com. Track it religiously using an excel spreadsheet (a good sample one is available on the forum).
