they've literally done it this time.

they mc999'd me for gillette razors. wowwww. i'm done!

too bad that's where i end up making the most money - how is this even possible?!

anyway hello! i'm lara :) from texas, living in washington state. i love books, ice cream... long walks on the beach... :P

Welcome to the forums Lara.

1. Gillette razors are HIGH risk due to 1) potential for knock-offs and 2) known hot item for thieves...so justing you know, it is dangerous to sell

Gillette razorblades are HEAVILY counterfeited. If you are ordering them from China for super-cheap, they are counterfeits.

As rsot pointed out, they are also a favorite target of thieves, since they are expensive and can be easily hidden when shoplifting.

Either way, eBay doesn't want to deal with the problems they generate.

I understand your confusion. A few years ago, I ordered some Gillette Mach 3 blades from eBay - I had no idea they were counterfeiting razor blades back then - and almost ended up in the emergency room. The possibility they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ never even crossed my mind - when you said the word counterfeit to me back then, I thought of things like Rolex watches, high-end designer purses and such.

The way things are going, pretty soon they'll be counterfeiting those 10 cent "Biro" stick pens...

Only ever buy razors from boots. Just not worth taking the risk to save a few £.

As the others have said they are counterfeited a lot and can cause some serious damage.

Best to find other things to sell
