Another Banned Power Seller For No Reason!
 

Hi all,

Im another eBay abuse story!

Yesterday at 9am I was a power seller with 99.8positive feedback on 2000 transactions, one neg and two neutral from six months ago. I was a top seller and power seller, ebay spent the last six months pushing and pushing me into being a top seller, which of course, was great, so i ordered bigger loads of stock, invested a LOT of money into it all ready for the next months to reap the benefit... then the MC999 indefinite selling came - no reason, nothing. No warnings.

So I say hello to the fellow eBay abuse victims :)

Thanks y'all. the Appeal the customer services rep put through failed today. Ha, not surprising.

Already up and running now with an account from Bunneh, but gee, its going to take six months to start turning over a profit again and a crap load of hassle :(

I find the people who post on their very pretentious.

They are the 'it won't happen to me' brigade.

Yes it was merely abuse for Accidently selling a vero item in January

Did they not advise you what the issue was? Was it the VERO item in January?

They refuse to tell me what th problem was, all the customers services rep would say is it could of been the VERO in January 'catching' up with me. Apparently, as he stated, they can take action on any infringement up to two years after the incident. So basically, if you have ever had an infringement on your account, a jobsworth in the Trust and Safety team can ban your account at any point in two years.!!!!

I sell car parts. I sold a couple of branded items that I got from an auction lot, they where reported as VERO, I had a month suspension, then 30 day reviews, reduced selling limits etc...so I thought that was my punishment, evidently not.

Since the ban on Monday I haven totted up another 20 positive feedback and no negatives! I am even still doing a few returns because I am a decenet seller and person and dont want people to be out of pocket. I dont sell any brand items, and over the last six months I have accrued ALL positive feedback, almost no Items not described and have comments on my feedback from buyers i have helped out personally that any seller would die for....but apparently this business model 'is not a safe system'.

Sounds like they found a way to quit giving you Top Seller Discounts

6 months is a long time to catch up. You should consider having multiple stealth accounts. There is having backup and there is having an army of backups.

Could be worse, you could be making ZERO profits and have loads of merchandise just sitting there! lol. At least with Stealth you have a fighting chance.

Know fact especially in the UK. A seller's account may have a 'green' dashboard & violations dropped off. But down the track, ebay zaps the account & often that time it is permanent. My brother found out the very hard way.

Learn stealth and beat the bar stewards.

Yes the green dashboard is such a lure into financial hardship. Id probably say retail I have around £10k worth of stock thats just sitting there :( I think they have a sixth sense, it was only the day my big shipments arrived that then canned me!

I am learning Stealth, read the book so many times my brain is now permanently paranoid about even turning my computer on :)
