Hello, recently paypal limited my account due to a chargeback with a Chinese supplier.

I was told my account was permantly closed and there was no appeal posibility. This was supposed to be for 180 days so I just dealt with it. 37 days later and I receive an email that I can witdrawl my funds od $1895.00 so I immediately transferred that cash into my checking account.

I thought, cool man I will just call them up and get reinstated as a 12 year selling member.....no chance.

So can anyone tell me why my funds were only held for 37 days?

I have 4 eBay accounts and they are not affected in any way as I am selling using propay. Propay get's screwed because eBay gives no support with invoice linking and I almost always have to send an email invoice. I would say my business has droppes 35% since only having propay.

I am just thinking of selling my acounts. They are all 100% and older accounts with no restrictions.

Still want to know why my funds were released in just over a month.

So decision time, go Amazon only, or go stealth with a paypal account, stay with what I have and get a gateway account.


I hate eBay but love the volume.

There's the thing if you leave eBay you lose the volume of people browsing, is it worth it to you to lose all that? In the meantime welcome and learn a bit about stealth to see if it is for you

Welcome to the forums - tough to determine why PP allowed your funds to be accessible in 37 days...consider yourself lucky and move on - messy account. Learn stealth and operate new and unlinked. Sad to hear about 12 y.o. account wiped

Welcome to the forums friend.
Lots for you to learn here. I wouldnt rule ebay + Paypal out completely since doing things the stealth way is quite doable if you know how to do things properly.
