Best way to get packages through customs?
 

Im not new to the ebay/internet merchant game but im looking to get farther into it i've previusly ordered from a friend but im looking to branch off and do my own deal. The one question i have is what is the best way ensure that packages make it through customs? I've heard that san fransico customs are more stricts and some people get PO boxes. How should I go about this?

Simple answer is: NOT to buy counterfeits.

If you buy a case of "Paddle Balls", I can almost guarantee your package will arrive safely and without issues. :)

Honestly, I used to be into the game until I realized the risk and the problems that did/could come with dealing with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ products.

I suggest you order non branded items or manufacture your own. Or find a good supplier in your country

Have you or a friend apply for a job at CBP so you can "inspect" your own goods. You'll be able to siphon thousands of your own shipments.

The bottom line is, if your business plan is to import counterfeit merchandise, there is NO WAY to ensure they will make it through customs. If they choose to inspect your package, it will be HISTORY.

If you are importing non-branded, generic merchandise and things that are not copyrighted, then you should not have any issues other than the occasional customs delay.

You should also know that when your first shipment is seized, they will add the name and address that shipment was going to into their database. That will make it more difficult to get any new packages through and also COULD open you up to criminal prosecution if they see a lot of activity.

A few years ago, you could get away with selling counterfeits, but not anymore.

Thousands of thousands STILL get away with it.. but the risk is wayyyy to high to bother.

You don't want to end up in court.

Exactly my point. Customs cannot inspect EVERYTHING that comes through. But if you get caught, it is no longer a little 30 day jail sentence.

I can't imagine explaining to my friends and family why I went to jail for 30 days because of importing phake goods

What about booking a flight and just bringing it back that way? Might be viable for people already going on a vacation.

LOL, So what your saying is....that the OP should book a Flight to Hong Kong or China to buy his counterfeits then fly back to the US with his counterfeits? How many people do you think are going to the Orient on vacation on a consistent basis?

It just really depends on how many fa.ke iPads you can shove inside your a$$ at one time. Going to need 20-30 at least to offset trip expenses.

Send the stuff via regular mail, never through the couriers, and the risk will be minimal.
