Angry Ex Power Seller Intro!

Just got booted off Ebay after having an account for 6 years with 425 feedback,100% Gold Level Power Seller status, selling mainly Classic Cars and Hot Rods.It was my wifes account first before we got married and I was using it.Recently I had trouble with a Seller and I got him suspended for making threats through Ebay Messages, I think that got Ebay looking deep into things and they tied that account to one of mine that was closed in 2003! This was the worst news I could get.Half of our income is from my sales on Ebay.I live in Northern California and have the advantage of finding Rust Free Cars and Selling them worldwide on Ebay.It took me years to get up to the status I was at...hopefully I will get back up again 2009.I purchased the Ebay stealth program and going to give that a try.I also have a friend who lives about 20 miles away who can open an account as well.So I'm not totally in bad shape! Good to know there are sites like this out there for support.I hate Ebay with a passion and if there were another company as big as them I would switch in a second..

Well that is not good to hear about your account, but you definitely came to the right place! Having someone else open an account for you is perfect so you can remove all limitations easily. Even if your friend won't do that, you still can make plenty other stealth accounts!

i would say to open a stealth account first for trial and error ...

one thing i've never really seen on this forum is someone running a stealth though on eBay motors ... do they require extra security measures??

It would be easier in my opinion since I never accept paypal as payment for my cars.I only accept Cashiers Checks, and Bank Wire Transfers or just plain old Cash. You still need to go through all the same procedures as any regular Ebay Seller account. In otherwords, there is no difference between Selling on Ebay Motors or regular Ebay. However selling cars takes alot of trust on the buyers end and thats where having a perfect Feedback score and lots of feedback comes into play.I had my account for over 5 1/2 years! I was selling Cars with ease,it was my way or no way and buyers always conformed since I had been a long time Power Seller with 100% Feedback. It's going to be a long road back, especially in this **** economy! Thankfully I saved my pennies for just such a rainy day as this...They didn't stop me, just slowed me down for a little while.. In the words of our Current Governator here in California,"I'll be Back"
