Hello. I am new here but have been doing eBay for some time. I have a freind that wanted me to help her with eBay. She has never sold but has 33 feedback from buying. Her selling limit is 1000.

I have 2 questions

1. Will it red flag eBay if I sell too much for her even though they give her 1000?
2. She had her eBay in NY and now she lives in Thailand. She has no way to call eBay from her NY phone number if she needs to verify something, is it better she tells eBay she has moved to Thailand?

Hi & welcome to the forum :yar:

1. What do you consider 'to much' to list? I would list the same amount and then gradually increase more and more as you go along. Slow is the way to go.

2. If she is in Thailand and her ebay is in USA. What does she use to connect to ebay? Her IP address will cause issues if she starts logging in outside a USA ip address.

You can get a USA forwarding phone number, as long as you dont use those free numbers, those are already burned with ebay.

Or i tend to use skype lol when i need to call the USA ebay, however i dont sell in the USA so it would be best to purchase a working phone number.

1. We have never listed anything. When you say list the same amount, how many out of 1000 should we list? Her account has been active for a year but she has only ever bought.

2. We use a VPN that eBay stealth recommended Strong VPN. I was wondering if eBay would change her selling limit if she told them she moved to Thailand and did it that way

Dont use strong vpn. It is already been burned and on the blacklist. You can search the forum about it for confirmation.

If you have never sold before then start with 10 items and then slowly increase it over time but change your vpn you use.
