Router Mac address cloning ?
 

Hi guys I have been useing my linksys routers over the past 5 years to clone my mac address and give me a new ip it works well but I have upgraded routers to a ac2600 and it's becoming a dam chore to change it. The way I did it always is clone the mac address then reset the modem and vola it works but since i.have the ac router I do the same steps and just says no Internet so I have to reset the modem and the router and do this like 2 or 3 times to get it to work some times taking about 15 mins to to the Internet up and running again which sucks cause it's more Hassel then it's worth. Any u guys here use a linksys ac2600 router and know a faster way to do and and I'm I don't something wrong?

Is the IP changing when you DO get the internet to come back on?

I've searched around the AC2600 support page and honestly can't find anything specific enough to help you. I would bet it's some sort of configuration issue giving you problems. Have you tried restarting the router from within linksys's software rather than unplugging?

It's a shot in the dark, I know. But it could help.

Really nice new router you've got, BTW. We need to upgrade. In the worst case scenario, you could always revert to your old router for e-commerce purposes..

Hi guys. I primarily sell on Amazon, so this relates to how Amazon tracks.

If I have a combined Router/Modem set up.

Option 1: Can I use the same Router/Modem to run multiple accounts if I run them on Virtual Machines?

Option 2: Or would it be better to run them off VPNs?

Can multiple accounts be linked to my Router/Modem if I use VPNs?

or Option 3: Would I need a combination of both VPN and VMs to run multiple accounts successfully?
