VPN info needed from any tech savvy members
 

I have a few questions about VPNs and how private they really are.
Some are obviously less than others. After reading this page, I have some
questions that maybe someone more tech savvy than I can answer :)
I know that there are conspiracy theorists everywhere so I don't know if this
information about VPNs is accurate or overblown. Any opinions on if this
is unnecessary or should we be paying attention to this?

After the current events with internet privacy and protections being removed,
I started googling VPNs trying to get more information.

I also read this about VPNs and the NSA, it's 1-1/2 years old but could still be accurate

What about the sharing of information? Are certain VPN providers
refusing to do that?

what information are you talking about ? and sharing with who ? I mean, if you put your name on facebook, doesn't matter if you use vpn or not m the information is shared. More generaly, once you put something on internet, it is not private anymore

wow, yes, I see, so yes, you should get a VPN from a country who respect privacy.

What about your old data, do you know if your isp will be able to sell them ?

I don't think they would be able to sell past data. I guess it depends on
how the new bill is drawn up by Congress.

so you should use a solid VPN outside of US and not related in anyway with US. I will send you pm

If you're concerned with your isp tracking your browsing habits, yes.

Stealth accounts to bypass eb/pp/amz, no.
You should maintain an ip address in the country you are trying to sell to.
