IP address and new seller account
 

I have 2 ebay accounts and 2 computers, so each one can not be linked to the other one. Each one has its own permanant IP address. If I create a third account using either one of those computers and try to sell, what kind of ebay ip tracking issues will I face? I know I can clear out my cookies, turn off my dsl modem and turn it back on and then I will have a new IP address. Will I have to do this every time I try to sell under this third account? Will I have to have ebay verify by phone, each time I try to sell on the third account? What is the safets thing to do so that I don't get the new seller account suspended or linked to the others? What are my options for keeping this account under the "radar"?

To simplify your life:

Go into your Windows Control Panel, Users, Create User Account. Make a new windows login, thus you separate all of your cookies belonging to each windows user.

Go to IP Chicken - Whats my IP address? ip address lookup and make a note of your IP address. Unplug the DSL.

Log out of your regular windows user and log in to the new one. Plug the DSL back in. Go to IP Chicken - Whats my IP address? ip address lookup and note that your IP address is not the same as it was before. Proceed to do your normal internet stuff for the third ID.

When finished, turn off the DLS, switch back to your regular windows user account, plug the DSL back in, Go to IP Chicken - Whats my IP address? ip address lookup and make note that your IP address is not the same as you used for your third-ID and do your non-third-ID activities as you always do.
