Tethering and airplane mode on/off
 

Seems that tethering airplane mode goes back and forth on having a ip address that has been used before. (i keep a log). So guess this is not much valid anymore lol

If you leave it on airplane mode for about 10 minutes and then turn it off you'll get a new IP address most of the times it's not so easy anymore to get a new IP address it has to be off or on airplane mode for a long time before it resets it at least that's my experience

Yeah seems i was able to get new ip but did take awhile.. hmm things are getting bit tricky these days

hi is this form of changing ip address still valid for members on this forum? New to stealth and I will be making an account soon. Also does the ip numbers differ wheter your connected to wifi or 4g (mobile internet provider)? For example my wifi ip is 98.167.098.786 and my 4g data ip is 6780:fb90:9daf:d098:67ef:98 is this the normal format for ip address. I hope I making sense.

The first set of numbers is an IPV4 address, the second an IPV6. You should track both.

Resetting IP through turning airplane mode off and on still works, but it usually takes longer than a few minutes for me.

I have two operative phones and the house router and the house router has a 'guest' channel, I usually go from one to the next to the next etc to give it a while to switch. That's 4 different accounts I can visit in a row.

Once in a while when I'm trying to get through a lot of accounts, I add in each of the 2 Ipads, and even the 2 kid's phones, which gives me an 8 account cycle.

Sometimes even so I have to wait a half hour or more to get a new ip when starting the cycle all over again.

It's just the way it is these days.

my 4g data ip is 6780:fb90:9daf098:67ef:98 is this the normal format for ip address from a cellular 4g company? I have only seen ip addresses in this format 89.989,096.745 this is from wifi. Are both formats of ip addresses fine to keep track of on ipburger? I plan on making a mobile stealth and my method is to use airplane mode for changing ip addresses, Using my 4g data plan. I just never seen an ip addresses with numbers and letters in it. Thanks.
