Cell phone tethering but not enough data?
 

I'm getting ready to setup a stealth account but stuck on IP already. My IP country is fine but I need a new IP address.

I sell digital stuff and need to upload a lot of data to etsy. My current data isn't enough to do cell phone tethering.

Is my only option to go VPN?

Why don't you get a decent phone contract or buy an internet USB Key to use for your accounts?

I guess it is cheaper than a VPN and a VPN is for one account only... need xVPNs for X accounts

Look for a better plan. Make sure you have really good reception for the area where you live.

I looked at unlimited data sim card deals and they are like £30 per month which is a lot more than VPN.

I will look into a dongle then!

One of the dumbest indeed :FF: but seriously OP, 30 quid a month may seem expensive but you can use the sim card as tethering for many things including etsy...

Is cell phone tethering better than VPN in the sense that I can get more than one IP address out of it?

whereas VPN I guess you pay and get only one IP - if that gets "used" then I have to buy another account?
