You now get 2 new ip addresses with new xfinity boxes

Just got a new box from XFINITY and I noticed it is giving me 2 ways to connect on these new boxes. 2 different ip addresses on 1 cable box. Is anyone else seeing this?

It's been like that since they started using 2-in-1 boxes (modem + router).

You get one IP when using it in modem-only mode, and you get a different IP if you switch it into Wifi mode.

EDIT: Sorry to hear you have Comcast. It was great getting away from them.
