Ideal tethering plan - boost mobile $50/mo
Long time reader, first time poster. The advice of this forum has been invaluable to me and I am successfully maxing out 5 stealth accounts some as old as 2 years. I have question to ask but first thought I would share some information that has helped me as far as changing IP addresses between accounts. A few other tips thrown in here. I hope it can help somebody out.
Certain boost mobile phones (Most ZTE I believe, LG Stylo 2 did not work) have the ability to remove data limit for tethering if you have the $50/unlimited plan. It's a simple setting, and the phones are about $30 bucks at walmart. You can literally set this up in about a minute out of the box. Search on how to add DUN entry to APN Settings. Now you have unlimited data/text/phone/tethering. Set up K-9 mail with a bluetooth keyboard and you also have a convenient way to keep up on your messages. I've had no problems replying directly to messages across different accounts easily through k-9 mail.
Every time you turn the phone off and back on, then activate hotspot, the IP will change. I keep a log in excel and duplicates occur at a rate of about 5% |
