What matters most is the IP address associated with that RDP .. is this virtual you're looking for or something local?

well i am traveling outta country , wanted to setup a rdp with socks 5 residential private ip to access . I am not techy by any means but i think this config would work ? Just load the portable FF on it with a local ip . thoughts ?

was looking at boomrdp but now i see lots of slow connection problems with it

I just use VPN and connect via my laptop (I travel out of the country from time to time.)

I have used TeamViewer out of country and that **** is slow from let's say the other side of the world.

VPN is faster if you're concerned about speed.

Yea i went to japan thought teamviewer was the ticket .. Ended up running like i was on 56k dial-up . So this time trying to go a different route .. I was just thinking pp could always see if your running on a vpn.

Yes, of course they can, but that doesn't matter. What matters is the IP reputation. If it's good, you're good.
