I am wondering the same thing. My 890L device worked great up until about 2 weeks ago. When I power the device on it starts and loads to the normal interface menu. It does show 3G at the top which appears to be a good sign that it is still in service I imagine. After a couple seconds however the whole device powers off and restarts. It is stuck in some type of reboot loop rendering the device useless.

Thinking it might be a bad battery I replaced it but the same issue. I'm thinking it may be a failing hardware issue at this point, or does it have something to do with the flash that was done to it? Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any ideas on how to resolve this?

If your charging the MiFi using a data sync cable (not a charge only cable) connected to your computer.... the MiFi can get stuck in download mode..

A good thought Nate but I have only used the original wall charger that came with the device. I left the device on to run through many reboot loops until the battery completely drained and tried using a different charger but unfortunately no further success.

Does anyone have a contact that can remote flash the device back to 3G?
