A Raspberry Pi works great as a VPN server if all you want to do is connect to your home network remotely... To access files, VM's, or to use your home internet connection through a securely encrypted tunnel... (i.e. if you were at starbucks connected to WiFi and you didnt want anyone to intercept you data packets...
If your thinking to change your IP for stealth... Not going to work... Unless you buy a bunch of them and leave them at friends and family's houses to access their IP addresses...
All a VPN does is connect you to the network the server is on... Not create IP's out of thin air... |
