Force Android phone to use 3G on unlimited 4G plan?

I have a unlimited 4G plan on Verizon. Is it possible to use 3G only connection on these plans? I think I would need to add new data settings? and force the phone to use WCDMA?

Are you trying to do this as to obtain the Verizon 3G IP pool?

get an iphone, you can turn off LTE and it switches to 3G...if you need help i can guide you man.

Verizon is doing away with 3G.
