Non Downloadable VPN
 
Hi

I want to use a VPN at work so downloading one is not going to work, any ideas what other options I have?

Proxy is an option although a poor one

You could take a mifi with you and connect to that is your able to connect to other networks

Thanks for the info, I just need to change the IP address, do you know of a simpler way to do that?

Eh, VPN's that don't use Viscosity are an option

The protocol 24vc uses with their VPN connections do not require any software downloaded. You can configure their VPN's from within Windows, in the "network connections" section.

If it’s a work computer it seems like a bad idea IMO to be configuring in that way.

A MiFi seems like the easiest solution. @OP - another thing that you have to think about is if other people have accesss to it how will you keep cookies separate?

I think best thing is to go to IPburger and ask their CS.

They respond very fast and see if they have a solution for you.

As phaz0rz mentioned at 24vc we made it so that if you do not want to download any software you don't have to! Can simply use your computer's built in L2TP protocol, setup is less than 5 mins
