old device + new IP address
 

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if I use an old phone which I have used previously with my banned account (used the Etsy app and the browser) can I use the same phone to tether to my computer with a new sim card/IP address and be ok?

Of course, I won't use the phone itself to access the account, only the connection to browse on my computer.

Any confirmation would be great.

Yes that's fine since you're only using the phone as a hotspot.

Hope it's ok to use this old post...my question is related.

I have been using my stealth account now with no problems thank God...but it's a bit annoying that I have to stick to my computer when using my account.

I am still using the old phone but I was wondering if I use the phone's browser to log in to the et$y website, will that link to my old account? I will still use mobile data so the IP address would be the same as the one I use to access my account from the computer.

Being able to manage my account and answer questions when I'm out would be so much easier for me.
