Is this a problem with IP distance?

I'm using a stealth address in NY for paypal/ebay, but I'm connected using WiTopia VPN, which is in Washington D.C.

is that a problem? is it too far?

I'm not so sure about the VPN provider, but the distance is okay. I've been using my iPhone often with PayPal and it logs in from different states all the time.

I haven't had any issues.

I use my laptop to tether to my iPhone's connection which gives me a fresh IP.
