Is a separate user account enough to not link accounts on Ebay/PP?

Or should I be using a different computer all together?

My plan was to use IP Burger dedicated IP on a separate user account on my MAC for my stealth account. But I do have access to another computer, should I use the IP burger on that computer instead??

Yes it’s completly safe some account sellers have over 100 different users and there doing fine good luck Caitlin

Are you sure that's how account sellers operate?
Well, even if that's the case, I'd presume creating and cataloguing accounts under \users is in theory, less risky than actually operating them as you'd have to process a lot of data during daily operation which might link other accounts.

If fingerprinting is implemented anytime in the future, accounts running under \users will take a hit.

This is my concern. Seems like Ebay is cracking down and probably will follow Amazons footsteps. Best to use a different computer I think. I am considering buying an IPAD and using IPBurger on it but Im worried about it accidentally flipping over to my WIFI, and also I don't want to have a different IPAD for every bloody single account....

The day may come for fingerprinting, but Ebay not there. Separate user accounts work fine, just be sure to disconnect and reconnect VPNs between accounts, otherwise they'll link you.

Agreed, not utilizing browser fingerprinting yet but maybe in the future??

For now user accounts + VPN works fine.

When browser fingerprinting comes into play, than VM would be needed.

I just bought a cheap Samsung laptop for $125 on amazon. Cuz Im a scaredy pants. I really want my stealth account to be a backup account that I can use long term. I could use some help on understanding ... does that mean I need to use a real persons name / id /ssn to verify the paypal??

To be able to hold funds in Paypal and spend funds yes to just sell and withdraw to your bank all you need is a bank account attached to the paypal

Don't use a real persons info - that's not the point of stealth...that's identity theft (unless it's your own...)

It will not be practical to use one computer per account.

Consider using a Type 1 hypervisor like Proxmox VE to run myriads of VMs without purchasing several computers.

I've always thought setting up VMs is the easy part.
The hard part is getting to implement the benefits/protection that VMs offer.

Getting WebRTC, WebGL and Canvas fingerprints (amongst other things) to differ between VMs is quite time-consuming if you run a large number of accounts. If you manage to pull it off, you would have saved $$$ in hardware cost. Plus you get the added benefit of going to bed happy knowing you will not be in line to find out the hard way should eBay / Paypal decide to bring in browser fingerprinting.
