IP address question using Tether Method
 

Hi guys, I was wondering if you guys can shed some light on this question. I've been wondering about it for awhile now and maybe you guys can advise me on the answer.

So let's say I tether my laptop with my phone, and receive the IP 98.123.3xx.xx from it through verizon network. I generally get a different IP when I turn off my phone and turn back on and it will be 98.123.2xx.xx

So from here I realize that my IP changes the last 6 digits after my phone restarts.

Now the question is this. Are the IP addresses im getting exclusive to me, or can those IP addresses be used by other people on their device using the same network (verizon) as I do?

Those adress are shared by everyone that has a Verizon network that’s located within that ip pool

Cell hone IPs = Abused to hell and limited pool.

I'd never use a cell phone to tether for my ebay or amazon.

I always have my VPN ready if I need to work outside, whether it's a public Wifi or using tethering so I don't have to worry about the Cell phone IPs

If your that worried then should probably use a vpn dedicated to just you
