24vc...not able to connect at certain times of a day.
 

Anyone ever have this issue with 24vc?

Dedicated unique ip service.

It's getting progressively more frustrating. I'm 99.9% sure it's not a settings issue or anything of that sort, since I'm able to login to the server majority of the time and when I do it's smooth sailing (no dropouts, etc).

However, sometimes I can just randomly try and log in and not be able to obtain an ip address for a good hour or so before I'm successful. After connecting to the server it just gives the dialog box 'trying to obtain ip address'...and times out.

Completely random times of the day.

Using softether vpn and the typical correct settings.


I'm coming close to being at wits end about this, as even tech support doesn't know what else could be the issue. But logic points me to it being something about the server being over congested at certain times of the day.


Wondering if I'm the only one who's experienced this with 24vc.

I have over a dozen IPs with them and I've never had an issue like that.. but they use a ton of different hosting companies for servers. There's probably only so much they can do when they're trying to troubleshoot for your support ticket.

I'd just request a new IP. Chances are the next one won't do that and if it does, then you'll know the issue is most likely on your end and not theirs.

Good info. Must just be me then, because this same problem has spanned over 2 separate accounts. Unfortunately can't request a new ip, as these are unique ip's that are already attached to aged ebay accounts.

Yeah that is definitely not normal, sounds like it might be a internet / firewall issue with your computer, I'll shoot you a PM and see if I can help!

He's already on the case...can't fault the customer support though!
