Using Netshare for mobile tethering to change IP address.

Netshare allows me to use my phone as a hot spot. I don't pay for this on my phone plan. At the end of the stealth book they talk about not using proxy servers. I see other people in the forums use vpns and proxy servers. Has anyone ever used this and had any issues? I have at&t so I can't download pdanet+, without unlocking my phone. Any feedback helps, thanks.

Using phone as hot spot is perfectly fine and I am sure lot of people is doing so in here.
