Mobile static IP
 

Hi, anyone know how to set an static Ip that I select on my iPhone's hostpot? I would like to know if its posible to select what IP I wanna share whit my phone..

I tried to find this in my phone's hotspot config, but it seems that it's not possible to choose the IP you give to connected devices. Maybe through some 3rd party app...

Not available for IOS. Use android based device or simply connect wifi hotspot to device that allows network setting configuration.

You can get a wifi "repeater" for around $20. https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-mt300n-v2/

Repeat the iPhone SSID and manage the settings through the glinet device.

Thanks for answer dude, I was checking and I don't really understand how can I use that. I have an old android phone too that I can use, what I need is the posibility to choose the IP that I want to connect my laptop because I use the hotspot of my phone to connect my PPs, that give me random IP but from 2 weeks by know is getting more hard to find some fresh IP.. how that device can help with that? Do you know any site where I can find a tutorial.. I was googling and still nothing...

I misunderstood what you were saying. You need a new pool of WAN ip's correct?

Try a different provider?

With a different provider could be the same.. I will get new ips but at the end I will need new Ips.. I was talking with the device of the device to see what can we do..

Right now is hard to find a fresh IP for me because I did use a lot, so I was wondering if I can select the one that I want.. I mean connect to account A: 100.000.00.0 make what I need to do and then change my ip to account B: 100.000.00.1 but Oh! I forgot something in account A.. lets change the IP MANUAL from 100.000.00.1 to 100.000.00.0.. that is what I looking for..
