Amazon Sponsored Ads being Blocked/Not Shown
Running a virtual machine, open Amazon webpage, do a search, sponsored ads show up just fine.
Running same virtual machine, connect to our IP from IPBURGER, using Viscosity software, open amazon page, do a search, no sponsored ads show up.
I have contacted Viscosity, they said they have no adblocker function built in. So I then contacted IPBURGER and they responded:
"No, we do not have any such adblockers with our VPN. It could simply be the ads algorithm that won't be showing you ads while you are connected to VPN."
Our IP location is in the US so I don't see why Amazon would be not showing us the ads.
Does anyone know why the sponsored ads do not show up or how I can get them to reappear?? |
