Why Keep Track Of IP addresses?
 

I keep reading about keeping track of ip addresses when using hotspot to tether. I know this sounds like a dumb question, but can anyone explain to me why we need to keep track of ips?

I'm only using the stealth for one Etsy account, so there are no other accounts that will be "crossed". Since it's always going to be on the same stealth account when I log in, why would I need to make sure the ips are different each time?

If you only use 1 stealth account then keeping track wouldn't be of great purposs - it's more for tracking multiple accounts

Would you care if the same IP was used (lets say a week later) on the same stealth account?

Same stealth account? No

Different stealth accounts? Better safe than sorry

if you have 1 dedicated hotspot per account no need to track

only reason to track IPs on the same ISP is to avoid getting shops linked by same IP, if you are using multiple accounts under the same hotspot
