| aspkin | 03-24-2020 09:52 PM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! yep yep, I'll announce it later with some promotions.
Right now we're doing some early bird promotions if you're on our VIP list.
Will list details of it tomorrow.
The real gaming changer is how not only you can choose any location world-wide for your IP but we give the option to choose by ISP (example only AT&T mobile IPs), along with 30 minute sticky IPs. This is powerful stuff. |
| StealthLannister | 03-24-2020 09:57 PM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! ^ I've been using other residential IPs providers for years now, and they don't have that option. This is going to be good!
Also, Do you plan to offer test trials on this? ;D |

Thank you | I believe it's how many users can use the same IP at the same time, or how many users can use the account at the same time? |

Thank you | It's a way for managing your allotted traffic.
You can have 3 users for example and give them each their own GB and set ISP or locations for these users.
It's just helps with managing usage. |
| Omani | 03-25-2020 03:46 AM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! OK this looks nice. But one question; what is a sticky session? |

Rotating Session - means, it's dynamic. IP changes for some time. |

Now it can be per session (page refresh for example) or you can retain your IP (sticky) for a period of time.
We allow up to 30 minute sticky IPs.
It's really useful. |

I believe, that would be the best since we gonna use it for account management. |

It's really useful. | I get residential mobile IP's from real devices and although these can be unstable at times, the IP's don't rotate, or maybe they do, but I can keep the same IP for days.
The only reason a mobile IP would change is if the device owner put it in and out of flight mode, or turned it off, or it got a flat battery, or they factory reset it. But nobody fuks around with a phone that much so I don't know why your residential IP's would be rotating?? |

But that's a different scenario when you are handling a lot of 'devices' running to run/generate the IP Address.
Your point is possible only if you are renting a DEDICATED device for your own use. |

I guess there are different types of residential IP's. |

Simple answer: It protects the network. |

It's a simbox, where they can put 60-120 sims altogether. Quote:
SIM Box allows you to install and manage any amount of SIM cards of different mobile operators that enables work of several GSM gateways placed in different locations. Available configurations: 60 sims and 120 sims. Several SIM boxes can be connected in one system that provides with ability to use unlimited amount of sims in your system.

Literally within 3 seconds I got MC113.. I’ve been setting up eBay and PayPal for 2 years with no issues at this stage of setting up an account.. waste of 75$ back to 24VC | Incorrect, this 100% works if you use it correctly.
Select ISP (stick to the same ISP) instead of location, use sticky IPs.
This has been tested to work well by many already. |
| Liam309 | 03-25-2020 09:15 PM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! Yes it seems that account was a one off I set up a few more and it worked perfectly so far.. if it does indeed continue to work it will be the best money I’ve spent over the last 2 years. |

currently in my Burger res IP account, I use sticky IP and location (CA, US) for my shipping address is in CA. is it ok? |

Do what I mentioned above for the best success.
Stick with ISP ONLY, not location. Location is better for other usages not associated with accounts. |

| fyrace | 03-26-2020 02:55 PM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! Just purchased. Curious for a business PP stealth account that I use location to same area as stealth details (Location Wisconsin, Stealth Details wisconsin) or just do ISP and sticky for Paypal Stealth accounts. Thanks. Also had problems setting up and I thought there was supposed to be 24/7 human support, not tickets or did I misread. And best for static not rotating?
Thanks |
| Themav | 03-26-2020 04:25 PM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! I know I can use IP Burgers help desk for this answer but thought I’d ask in here in case it helps others :
So let’s say I have 3 user/stealth accounts on my Mac and the IP Burger chrome extension has been set up for each one. I fire up stealth 1 and the IP Burger extension is loaded as soon as I open a chrome browser - do I need to mess around with any settings to when I first set it up ?.
When I log out of user account 1 to log into user account 2 on my Mac to access stealth account 2 when I fire up IP Burger extension on chrome will it give me a brand new residential IP automatically or will it still have the same IP / settings as user account one because I’m inside the 30 minutes static period ? How do I make sure each user account I log into is showing a new residential IP without messing with settings all the time?
Can this be used easier with Firefox portable ? |

Thanks | You don't need to match the location. It is definitely fine.
Just go with the sticky session option, then you're good to go
Also, what problems did you have when setting up? |

Thanks | When it comes to account management.
Always ISP + Sticky.
Location and rotating is meant for other things such as SEO bots, Shoe bots, etc.
We're tickets right now but will be expanding to chat support in coming weeks. |

Regarding your second question, we use session IDs. You will want to make sure your session ID is unique per user. This is automatically unique if you purchase higher level plans with sub users. Otherwise you can set this up manually. Open a ticket if you need help with this.
I'm not sure about Firefox portable; I use Firefox profiles personally. |

Thank you | I'm not sure about that, however you can configure proxy settings in your iPhone which is just as easy.
Supported protocols are: HTTP & HTTPS
Open a ticket if you need further clarifications
We're still working on our guides now and will have details out soon. |

Thank you | Yes, you can just configure the ovpn configuration file.
And use TCP protocol (instead of the UDP), and set the IP you wanted to connect. And you can also save the username and password in a notepad, in order for it not to promt the log-in credentials in every time you connect. |

| fyrace | 03-27-2020 08:24 AM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! Does it matter if I pick an ISP provider or just keep with "no selection" for residential proxy. Also when trying to access Paypal via the residential, ISP + sticky option I get this error: This site can’t be reachedThe webpage at https://paypal.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED
I can access every other site...ebay...etc. Just not Paypal. When I go to dedicated fresh site chrome user or no protection paypal works fine. Any thoughts? |
| fyrace | 03-29-2020 07:52 AM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! Still finding the residential proxies a bit buggy but support is helping daily. Good support team. Before I really use to access my stealth accounts I will make sure its tuned for me. Thanks! |
| aspkin | 03-29-2020 08:09 AM | Re: IPBurger Finally offering RESIDENTIAL IPs! The nature of Residential IPs is that it's not as fast as Fresh IPs or as stable.
There will always be some issues with it but the trade off is access to millions of residential IPs anywhere in the world.
If you can work through those buggy times (just not as smooth functioning) or lack of speed at times, than it is great. Otherwise Fresh IPs are very fast and stable alternative (though it lacks flexibility).
There are pros and cons to both as you see.
I will be the first to say don't expect residential IPs to be as fast or stable as Fresh IPs. One is made for speed and stability (fresh), the other is made for flexibility and convenience (residential). | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:18 AM. | |
