Another question im having, to verfiy paypal, do i have to link BOTH credit card and Bank account, OR only a VCC is enough to verify paypal ? |

Start with that when you create an account. It's important that you select this. |

- between Paypal and eBay account creation. So PayPal account will be created with 1 IP and eBay account with another?
- during the eBay account creation. So during the account creation there were 2 different IPs.
Thanks! |

Thanks! | To save you from this trouble. Why don't you get a static IP instead? I myself is using a dynamic ip given by my ISP, but it only changes once i restart my modem, which is very rare to happen, like rarely once a month. |

I personally like using it consistently instead of switching around.
But if you want, you can switch to fresh and dedicated after a month. |

Thanks! | In this case, it'll be the ISP that matters and creating eBay and PP accounts with different IPs is completely normal |

Thanks! | That's not an issue at all. You can have different creation IPs for ebay and paypal as they are completely separate or different sites. The problem is that, if your IP is constantly changing (very dynamic) like it changes every minute, 10 minutes or so, your paypal account will be flagged for unauthorized access, unusual activity. And so with the ebay account. It will keep asking to confirm account ownership via phone verification or email confirmation. It happened to me before a lot of times. It can be fixed easily especially if you have the phone number ready. It sucks sometimes as it might need the ID, so you may prepare that too.
To save you from this hassle, better stick to using static IPs, or a dynamic IP that will not change too constantly. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:15 AM. | |
