Hi i just switched to new internet provider and checked https://www.ipqualityscore.com
and
https://scamalytics.com/ip

ipqualityscore says my ip is 88% associated with bad behavior and a proxy is detected (no proxy used when checking)

scamalytics says 1%

Why the big differences?

EDIT- the computer is new as well (purchased used)

Strange. I just checked one of my IPBurger IP`s. The tool shows me the Fraud Score: 29. IP address XX.XX.XXX.XX is a high fraud risk.

I don't know if ipqualityscore.com is a legit website to be honest! I have been searching for an answer about it since 3 days and couldn't get anything.
You know what, I am using cyberghost vpn and I checked almost all the ips in ipqualityscore.com and they all returned with score of 50% to 100% risky ips. Even my dedicated ip address was marked with 66% of risk.

I have also checked my mobile tethering and returned with 66% risk score. Not only that, it also marks the tethering ips as a proxy/vpn. When I tried my broadband the score was green and clean with 0% of risk and fraud.

I also tried whoer.net and same thing happened, but not with the score because whoer.net has different system, but with the spam score.
I am pretty sure that ebay and paypal has even tougher plugins to detect IPs.

There's a bunch of IP intel websites like that, hard to know how accurate they actually are

I wouldn't rely on them too much

From my experience IPQualityScore is known for false positives. I use them for fraud protection and they often have false positives.

https://scamalytics.com/ is great. my residential home ip is rated 6. I don't use proxies, so i couldn't tell you how good each one is.
