Qubes os
 

Any advice on running qubes os with the ipburger vpn and residential proxy?

I have the latest qubes os installed on my laptop. Just want some insight on running PayPal and bank accounts through qubes. An operating system recommended by Snowden so I big truss :hail:

do you have any specific questions?

qubes is like running multiple virtual machines on 1 host

you can spin up a qubes window in whatever OS and operate firefox/ipburger the same as any computer

unless you're a journalist receiving random files from anonymous sources that may be a virus, qubes would be overkill for ebay/amazon stealth shops

its an awesome OS though and likely the best privacy/security available in combination with whonix

One, could I run accounts through qubes/whonix or qubes/usb with Firefoxprotable? I’m siding more with qubes/fedora

Two(this might be off topic but concerns qubes), how do you go about saving data(cookies, personal info) safely in case someone physically takes my laptop and tries to access the saved data?

Im concerned with being anonymous because I want banks to know I’m a real user but at the same time leave no traces on my laptop. I know whonix runs through tor so a vpn would be a no; in which im guessing qubes/whonix is bad for aging accounts? Lol sorry for talking all over the place :smash:

1. qubes/whonix for creating shops is unnecessary, you would just do qubes/whatever OS install you want + firefox etc

2. when you create each qubes windows, that window will save the history depending on the settings you enable for that specific virtual machine

If you're adding your own bank account to the amazon/ebay shop, then there is no anonymity really as the trail leads to your bank account

Just stick with virtual box / vmware as its all you need for stealth shops, qubes/whonix is overkill

check out the introductory video on the qubes site, its pretty good

youtube has lots of stuff if you continue to go down that rabbit hole :thumb:
