How to know if IP has changed correctly

Switch off Sky Q Hub last night, even unplugged everything for good messure, all for 1 hour. Then Plugged everything back in and turned hub back on. ( I did not hit the re-set button on the back) I logged into my router and copy and pasted all details before hand, then after the re-boot compaird the details.

Broadband Port

IPv4 Address = changed

Gateway IPv4 Address = Changed

On system logs, = IP changed

LAN Port

seems like all stayed the same.

Im I good to go? Is this enough of a change? In regards to changing IP address. Note: Site ebay cookies and cache were cleared before making the IP change

You may try speeding up things a little by dedicating a tab for router management.
Your router should allow you to reboot it if you access its setting via a web GUI. Consider bookmarking that page, so you don't have to leave your PC.

You may not need to wait 1 hour to get a new IP. A reboot will usually suffice to release your IP and get a new one. Well, most times.

Yes, I have access to router management where I have re-booted before. I just went down the long path just for my own peace of mind, as I only have one ebay account.
