Ip's and how long before its safe if same one pops up to use again?
 

I was thinking when would it be safe to use the same ip number if it happens to roll around again 3-4 months? Longer? Who knows maybe the same ip wont pop up for a year. Has anyone ever had the same ip pop up twice and if so what was the time frame between the two?

Ah, that's not the acutal issue. Problems will occur if the IP has been associated with a suspended ebay account. vicvelcro may well give the techo reasons ( to do with lease-time & stuff) but this is my non-tech reply.

So, if you are in full stealth mode & have a new IP, then the range will be fine for ebay purposes. Ideally, you have user accounts & are logging your IP B4 you sign into ebay......

You can proceed in stealth mode & the odds of an IP happening are high. THe ISP provider has 'given you' a specific rang of numbers. S'long as everything is fine ( no suspensions) you can go on for ages.:ranger:

If you use dial-up through phone line, such as AOL, you don't need to worry about the IP thing.

For Broadband such as cable, find out which ebay paypal account used that IP before. Don't log your other accounts through that IP to avoid link.

Keep track of all the IPs you use in a spreadsheet for future reference.
