IP Address - Ethernet AND MiFi
 

Hi,

I am currently working remote so for my stealth computer I need to have both the Ethernet connected as well as the MiFi so I do not lose connection to my computer in case the MiFi device acts up.


Now can eB/PP detect the IP address my Ethernet cord is connected to?

Or they shouldn't be able to view that IP address as long as I'm connected to the MiFi device when I am logging into ebay?

I did set my priority on my remote computer to connect to the WiFi (MiFi) first before the ethernet cord.

Why not take your computer with your and use a dedicated IP address?

If you want to get the remote connection route anything can happen where your connection is lost and you lose access.

As long as you're connected to the mifi device while browsing you should be okay.. however how are you doing that? A VM?

I have a few stealths, I did consider that option but it wouldve cost too much monthly to keep up.

And I just use one of those screen mirroring apps.

Bit confused - is your Ethernet connected to the same MiFi? If so then you get the same IP regardless if you're connected to it wired or wireless

I would just get a better hotspot without connectivity issues if yours is having trouble
