Default VPN dropout

I have recently been experiencing VPN dropout or outright non-authorization when trying to connect to the server. These VPNs are very old ips I've had the whole time with the original account. (some 3-5 years old) So I have a few questions.

Why are they now dropping out? Is this server-side? I have done nothing to my setup (mac os). My internet is not dropping out. This just started within the last few months.

Second question. I am highly paranoid that my real ip will connect. When the VPN connects and I am using it, when I sometimes click to enter or go to another link, the browser will freeze. I know then the VPN is about to die. I usually kill the connection and close the browser. What are the chances that the website saw my IP? I have all of the data running through the VPN only. When it freezes and goes into spinning wheel and brings up VPN connection lost, am I safe as long as I just kill the browser? The next page never loads, but it worries me.

Third question. If I change services and ip. Will ebay have a problem with such seasoned accountings getting new IP addresses?

Use a VPN client that has a block connection if VPN drops feature

Or add Firewall settings to block the connection if VPN drops

Try a different wired home internet ISP

if you change provider you should get a trusted one like IPBurger.
Most are junk.

So as long as your still use the same browser / computer the most they'll do is captcha you.
Me currently I'm a big fan of their Residential IP. Just much more versatile for my multi usage.

Use a killswitch. (based on what I learned years ago... possibly better options, now)

IPBurger has an auto killswitch... you don't even need to do anything
