Confused about how a Fresh Proxy from IPBurger is going to be ok with eBay?
 

IPBurger told me for an already existing eBay account, a Fresh Proxy from the very beginning is what they recommend.

I bought a Fresh Proxy since I'm trying to use it for an existing account, but I then realized that I can't select the City and State. I am stuck with the location they chose (California in this case), but I am located in Illinois.

Isn't eBay going to notice a few things:

1. I've been using the account in Illinois for years
2. My address is an Illinois address
2. My tracking numbers for the items I'm shipping show Illinois for the dropoffs

I can't seem to understand how this wouldn't raise any red flags to eBay? I know Residential Proxies can select a city/state, but they assured me a Fresh Proxy would be best. How is this possible when the location doesn't match my account info?

While the IP of the state location doesn't seem to affect a well-established account like yours, I am not sure why you can't get a specific IP (location based) you want from your provider

IPBurger said that their Fresh Proxies do not allow me to select the location. Is there something I'm missing here?

YOu mean their fresh and dedicated VPN?

YOu'll have to ask their customer support.

Btw did you know they have a new static residential IP ?

I asked them and they said we cannot select the city or state for their static IP. It gets randomly assigned.

The only IPs we can select is the rotating Residential Proxy. Pretty disappointing. I'm extremely hesitant to try to use the Fresh proxy. I just can't see how eBay won't red flag the account if they see the IP in California when I'm across the country.

FOr maintenance those VPNs are fine wherever you are. . .

But I'd still just use their residential IP solution. It's superior.
