ip change help

I have windstream isp and a linksys n router.I went to routers setup page and to mac address and last number is 1D.Can this be changed or another
one with only numbers?I changed it to 2D and saved and router did not
reset.A little help here ,Thanks.

I find it much easier just to tether your smartphone to your computer, the ip changes every time you log in, it's the hassle free way.
