Hi

Does anyone have any suggestions for a broadband internet supplier, where it's easy to change IP address?

Where I currently live has terrible mobile internet connection

And my broadband is supplied by NOWTV Broadband(Sky) and I haven't been able to change the IP as yet by turning off the router.

Have you tried the 3 mobile router, you can put your post code in and it will tell you the coverage. Easy to change IP by turning off and on.

I'll keep an eye for that, tethering on my Samsung Galaxy is awful

That’s where the iPhone comes out on its own, never any tethering issues.

i use tethering on samsung devices - seems fine but really might depend on your IP provider

Did you leave the router off for 5 mins before turning on again? That works for me on sky broadband and I think Now are owned by sky also?

I do not understand the science behind it all but the time it takes for them (any and all I suspect) to release the assigned IP and allocate another varies considerably.

I'm with BT and sometimes its 10 minutes, sometimes 40.

If quick changes are important then you're better off with a mobile sim or mifi dongle.

Yeah I use mobile IP

The reason it's important as sometimes I forget to disconnect the ethernet cable from my PC when I plug in my usb modem. So I don't want to log into my stealth accounts with my real IP obviously.

US cell phones used to tether works really well on stealth accounts in the USA
