VPN or Dialup

Hello All,

I'm a newbie new and I got the ebook two day ago. I've been reading through the ebook twice and am still digesting the information. I'm not sure which change of IP Address method should I use and would like you guys to give me some input.

I'm in Vancouver and using Telus as ISP. There is no router with Telus high Speed. There is only one cable modem and is connected to my brothers desktop directly. I'm using a laptop and I connect to the modem wirelessly. I tried to do the Option 3 (Direct Connection) on my laptop but it did not work. Should I do it on my brother's destop instead? If this fails, should I get a vpn service or dialup service to play it safe?

My account has not been suspended yet but I was restricted to sell for 30 days. My complance level is very low so I believe that I will be suspended sooner or later if I continue to sell using the same account.

Please any input is welcome. Thanks!:typing:

It's may be easier if you use your brothers desktop to obtain a new IP. You might have to spoof your Mac address as well. But try unplugging the power source to the modem, run ipconfig /release on the desktop and power the modem back on. If you're lucky you'll get a new IP address. Be sure to visit ipburger.com to record your IP before and after.

Dialup is the next best option.

Hi just sign up for dialup but the ISP only have one access number for my area. Does that mean I'll always get the same IP? I tried logging out, restarted my PC and reconnect again but I still got the same IP.

Sorry I'm not an IT geek. This question may sound dump.

No, with dialup you should get a new IP address every time you connect to it. If you get the same IP address... disconnect and reconnect until a new IP appears.
