I just checked my IP address at What Is My IP Address? - Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more... it stated taht I have a static IP address. From what I have read, if I have a static IP i am stuck with this one for good.. Is this true? I am new to this IP address stuff, but it looks to be essential if you want to get back on amazon. Which I need to do as soon as possible.

Yes, but you might want to call your ISP and see about getting a dynamic IP for a little extra money.

Or just go with another ISP in your area.

You could always get a mobile broadband connection card, these ip's are easily changed.

Most ISP's charge more for a static ip. I think someone on here said they have time warner, and the ip is static and can't be changed.

I have a static IP w/ a Motorola sbg900 and I've been able to re-set my IP

have you tried using dial up.maybe slow but it changes ip address each time you use it!
