Time Warner Cable IP change question

I have Time Warner Cable and every time I reset ip trough my Netgear router, it only changes the last 2 or 3 digits. I think this is qualified as "new ip", but I also heard that ebay/amazon may track similar ip range.

Please let me know if you have TWC and also experienced the same problem? Or the change of last 2 to 3 digits is still enough? Thanks in advance!!

Changing the last digits is enough. EXCEPT if you are trying to spoof a mailing address on your account that does not fit your IP region.

68.87.55.26 might be Kansas City.

If you are trying to make or use a stealth account from Miami, you don't want an IP address that begins with 68.87.55.xx

Got it, thanks!!

I recently noticed that it began to alter the last 2 sets of digits in my IP address. I think this is good enough to consider a "new" IP.
